Frequently asked

questions

We typically book events anywhere from a few weeks prior to the event date, or an entire year—it depends on the size of the project, the amount of production and preparation required, and the logistics of the event itself.

While we work on some of our bigger projects for 8-12 months, we’ve also put together a whole flashmob in Times Square in under 3 weeks, so… anything is possible! Reach out via the form above to inquire about your event.

There is no such thing as “average” in the land of Monocle! You already know by now that custom is our thing.

Our larger scale Broadway- level productions with 20+ performers and an full band range from $50,000-$100,000, yet we have done intimate gatherings for $2,000.

Have a dream? Tell us about it and we’ll see what we can do.

Whatever your heart desires, we can do it.

If you want to re-write the words to your favorite Hamilton song to make them about your Great-Grandpa who is turning 89 - we do that. If you’d like to reimagine a Lady Gaga tune with a String Orchestra, we’ve done that too.

Nothing you get at Monocle can be picked off a shelf. Everything we do is tailor made to your specific desires, and your specific event. Click here to read more about our process.

Organizing an event is a huge undertaking. We truly work around the clock to ensure every detail is accounted for. Depending on the scale of the event it can take from 2 weeks to 12 months!

Just the entertainment.

However, we often collaborate with different companies to make all the aspects come together (like event design, catering, and large technical elements, etc).

If you need a suggestion for a great event planner, though, let us know—we’ve got plenty of recs.

So many things! There’s a LOT that goes into producing a custom live theater event.

When creating a proposal we think about everything: number of performers, how big is the band, what is the sound system, rehearsal studio rentals, Choreographer, Director, Music Director, music arrangements, costumes, hair and make-up, travel, COVID-19 protocols/testing and PPE, etc.

Like we said: SO much goes into putting on a customs show at this level, and we spare no detail in planning our productions, because we care about providing you with the highest quality entertainment possible.

Thank you for asking, you can support in many ways! You can hire us for a gig, you can tell your friends about us, you can follow us on social media and share our work, and you can shop in the Monocle Store!

Thank you for your interest! You can submit to our performer files by filling out this form.

We are always looking for a multitude of artists from musical theater performers, to musicians, to Musical Directors, to sound technicians, to make-up artists and beyond. We’d love to have you in the family!
